MOSCOW, Nov 1 (PRIME) – The Moscow Exchange is considering launching trade in deliverable gold contracts, Arseny Glazkov, head of the marketing and sales department of the bourse’s derivatives market, said at a conference on Wednesday.
“We have two futures for gold, one is traded on the spot market, and we have a futures contract that is tied to the London benchmark. We are now working on the derivatives market to create another contract for gold, a deliverable contract,” he said.
The plans largely depend on position of the central bank and market participants that will have to provide liquidity for the order book, he added.
